Before you ask.
What do I get?

A finished rechargeable ORGASMASK, TDR: The Deep Reset (the guided six-hour protocol as an eBook), and the tobeborn app, which runs preparation, timing, stopping, and integration.

Why does a darkness experience need an app?

The app never enters the dark. It handles everything on both sides of the six hours: readiness check, support-person sync, the black timer, the stop flow, and the 24 hour, 7 day, and 30 day checkpoints.

Why darkness?

Light is the strongest external signal holding your attention. Remove it deliberately, with structure, and what remains deserves attention.

What if I want to stop?

You stop. You can remove the mask at any moment, unassisted. The app's stop flow walks you through light, position, and contact. Stopping early is valid participation, not failure.

Is this a retreat?

No. Six hours at home is not a three-day professional retreat. It is the first threshold. The deep end is The Second Birth, and it is a different experience entirely.

How do I stay safe?

The guide and the app walk you through preparation, a support-person plan, and clear stopping criteria before the timer ever starts.

Who is it for?

Psychologically stable adults who feel overstimulated, disconnected, or trapped in automatic living. Not for anyone seeking treatment for a condition.

Is my outcome guaranteed?

No. We guarantee the structure. We do not script the outcome.

    Limited first run.

    We guarantee the structure.
We do not script the outcome.

Six hours. No screen. No visual world. No promise about what you will find.

    What to expect

The six hours, hour by hour.

No surprises is the design. Here is exactly how a session runs, including the parts other brands leave out.

    Hour 0

    Before anything starts

The app runs a readiness check. Your room is set: hazards cleared, water in reach, phone charged and then ignored. Your support person has your start time, end time, and check-in plan. You have practiced removing the mask with both hands, twice, until it is boring.

You write three sentences: why now, what you hope to notice, what would make you stop. Then the eBook goes away. The timer starts only when everything on this list is true.

You might notice: The urge to skip a step. The protocol makes skipping impossible, because rushing is the first corner everyone cuts.

    Hour 1

    The drop

Mask on. The visual world stops arriving. For a few minutes it feels like nothing much. Then the mind starts hunting: tasks to plan, conversations to replay, emergencies to invent. The silence is not empty. It is full of everything the noise was covering.

You might notice: A strong urge to check your phone for a problem that does not exist. There is no problem. There is no feed either.

    Hours 2 to 3

    The loud quiet

This is where the practice gets honest. With nothing arriving, what you have been outrunning gets louder: the unfinished conversation, the decision you keep deferring, the number you keep checking, the feeling you have been managing since morning.

The protocol asks one thing here: notice one pattern. Not fix it. Not fight it. Notice it, and write nothing down yet. The dark is not a meeting with yourself you can prepare slides for.

You might notice: Boredom so complete it feels like a wall. Boredom is the door. Most people have not stood in front of it in years.

    Hours 3 to 5

    The long middle

Time changes texture. Sessions differ here: some people settle into a slow, wide quiet; some hit their hardest stretch at hour four. Both are normal. Both are the practice.

You may shift position. You may drink water. You may stop entirely, and the app's stop flow will walk you through light, position, and contact with your person, calmly, in that order.

You might notice: The feeling that you should be getting something out of this. That feeling is the pattern most people come here to notice.

    Hour 5 to 6

    The taper

The protocol thins on purpose. Nothing is added at the end. The dark loosens its grip the way it took hold: gradually, without ceremony. You will know the session is closing without being told.

You might notice: Reluctance, or relief. Both reactions are data. Neither is wrong.

    Hour 6

    Emergence

Mask off, seated or lying down, low light first. No screens, no driving, no big decisions, no posting about it. The app starts a protected no-screen buffer, because the first minutes back are part of the experience, not dead time after it.

You record plain facts: how long it actually lasted, how it compared to what you expected, what you noticed, what remains unclear.

You might notice: How loud the room is. Colors, edges, movement. Vision comes back like a hand unclenching.

    After

    Integration

The experience is not the practice. The practice is what it changes. The app prompts you at 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days with one question each: what stayed, what changed, what persists.

Answer honestly, including "nothing yet." That answer is data too, and it is the difference between an experience you had and a pattern you interrupted.

You might notice: How fast ordinary life offers to take the memory back. The checkpoints exist exactly for that.

    Included: the tobeborn app

The app gets you ready. The dark does the rest.

The app never enters the dark. It runs everything on both sides of the six hours, then gets out of the way.

    01

    Readiness check

A short screening before every session. If something is off, the app says so.

    02

    Support sync

Your person gets your start time, end time, and check-in plan automatically.

    03

    The black timer

Six hours, one button. The screen goes dark and stays dark. Stopping is always one tap away.

    04

    Stop flow

Changed your mind? The app walks you through light, position, and contact. Calmly.

    05

    Emergence window

A no-screen buffer after you surface. The app protects it.

    06

    Integration checkpoints

24 hours. 7 days. 30 days. Three prompts that turn an experience into a practice.

Included with the bundle. Free. No subscription.

Also inside: the investigation. The founder's 72 hours in darkness, uncut, plus every exit interview we publish.

    Radical honesty

What we will not tell you about this product.

You are buying equipment for a serious practice. You deserve the limits in the open.

    • Battery and runtime numbers. Pending verified testing before release.
    The honest chart

    Darkness alone is an absence.

    Structure is the difference.

ORGASMASK + TDR Blackout mask Meditation app Willpower
    Structured six-hour protocol
    Complete visual darkness
    Preparation and stopping criteria
    Protocol app + integration checkpoints

This chart describes designed structure, not outcomes.

A person lying back with the mask on, in a dark room
Close profile of a person wearing the mask, lying down in low light
Macro shot of the mask's control pad and padded interior inside the box
A person pulling the ORGASMASK on over their eyes

    Safety

Stopping is part of the design.

Every protocol decision starts here. Calm, literal, non-negotiable.

You can remove the mask at any moment, unassisted, in seconds. Removal never depends on power, an app, or another person.
The door never locks. Not once, not for any reason.
A support person knows your start time, end time, and check-in plan.
If the experience feels unsafe, stop it. Restore light slowly and make contact.
An early exit is valid participation, not failure. It is recorded as data, not shame.
Never remain in the darkness to prove commitment.

Not for minors. Not for anyone in acute distress, or seeking treatment for a diagnosed condition. To Be Born is a structured practice, not therapy.
